King Fifer is an experienced mediator and arbitrator offering services through Dallas' most respected mediation firm, Burdin Mediations.

Fifer served as Judge of Dallas County Court at Law 2 for more than a decade. During his award-winning tenure, he was named a Trial Judge of the Year by the Dallas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was named one of Dallas' Best Lawyers by D Magazine from 2019 through 2024.

On the bench, Fifer oversaw litigation matters arising in the real estate, manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, computer technology, construction, retail sales, and insurance industries. He presided over many trials involving complex business litigation matters, including breach of contract, professional malpractice, fraud, partnership dissolution, violations of fiduciary duties, breach of non-compete covenants, theft of trade secrets, and employment-related issues.

Prior to his judicial service, Fifer had a state and federal trial practice in construction litigation and also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury litigation ranging from simple negligence to medical malpractice and complex product liability matters.
